Bailey & Bellini is a luxury pet wear brand. Our range of premium dog collars and leashes are handmade on the coast of Kenya by local artisans dedicated to promoting East African art in the global marketplace. Each product is lovingly and carefully hand made using traditional Maasai beadwork techniques. This is an intricate craft and an important part of Maasai culture.
We work closely with a Kenyan organisation that has trained and fully supports over 80 community members, turning them into masters of their crafts. Before joining the team, many of them were either unemployed or working very sporadically. The steady income that they are now earning enables them to educate their children and have access to better healthcare. We are proud to be working closely with these talented and dedicated artisans and help to continue to bring this traditional art to the global field!
Why are our collars made from leather? Leather dog collars are lightweight, pliable and easy to clean. They are long lasting, and the perfect choice for dogs with sensitive skin. All of our hardware is made from recycled locks.
